Biography |
Baldassare Peruzzi (b. 1481; d. 1556) Raised in Siena, Italy, Peruzzi went to Rome in 1503, and studied under patronage of a famous banker for several years. In 1525 he built the Ossoli palace in Rome. Peruzzi was also an active painter, assisting Raphael among other things. His notes and projects were used by Serlio in perparation of his books on architecture. | |||
