Discussion Elia-Bash House Commentary

An extremely rocky, steeply sloping, isolated mountainside site dictated the house’s decidedly vertical nature. Programmatic requirements included a large, lofty space for an organ with an adjoining piano space as well a workshop adjacent to the garage at the house’s base. Two guest rooms occupy the second floor, the base of the organ volume which provides a vertical link to the double-height living spaces of the third floor and the master bedroom isolated on the fourth floor projection.
