Windows Discussion
Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Windows

"The U-shaped building takes maximum advantage of daylight, and the historic steel casement windows will be refurbished and remain operable."

— City of Berkeley, 1999

A light is provided at the janitorial station to alert custodians to open the windows for night ventillation, as deetermined by the building monitoring system. It's the facility managers' experience with this approach, and they are recommending it on other projects.
